The Dreaded Laramie to release new album, share “Life Is Funny” video

The Dreaded Laramie have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Princess Feedback and will be out on July 5 via Smartpunk Records. The band has also released a video for their new song “Life Is Funny” which was directed by the band and features practical effects by Virginity and William Cunningham. The Dreaded Laramie released their EP Everything A Girl Could Ask For in 2022. Check out the video and tracklist below.

Pride Month Barbie: “Fun”

Los Angeles-based dance-punk duo Pride Month Barbie have released a video for their new song “Fun”. The video was created by Paradise Pardis. The song is off their upcoming album All The Girls in the Room Say ‘Sorry’ which will be out on June 14 via Get Better Records. Pride Month Barbie released their single “Withheld” in 2023. Talking 'Name Your Sorrow' with Pamela Connolly of Pillow Queens

Last month Dublin-based indie rockers Pillow Queens released their incredible third album Name Your Sorrow. The band holds nothing back as they delve deep into heartbreak along with all the grief and conflicting emotions that accompany it over the course of twelve tracks brimming with direct and honest lyrics. The album is a masterclass of vulnerability and catharsis as the band gives voice to all the struggles (as well as the small victories) that pave the messy path to healing. Name Your Sorrow is out everywhere now via Royal Mountain Records. Pillow Queens will kick off their UK tour in June.

OFF! announce farewell shows, release 'Free LSD' movie trailer

OFF! have announced that they will be playing farewell shows across the US. Along with the shows, they will be screening their Free LSD movie with Q&A sessions. A trailer for the film has also been released. Shellac will be joining them in Chicago, Fucked Up will be joining them in New York City, and Surfbort will be joining them in Los Angeles. The Sisters of Mercy have announced North American tour dates for this fall. Blaqk Audio, the band made up of Davey Havok and Jade Puget from AFI, will be joining them on all dates. The Sisters of Mercy released their album Vision Thing in 1990. Check out the dates below.

Montreal-based folky hardcore band Truck Violence have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Violence and will be out on July 5 via Mothland. The band has also released a video for their new song “Undressed you layn’t before” which was directed by the band. Truck Violence released HINTERLANDS in 2023. Origami Angel have released a new song called “Fruit Wine”. The song appears to be a standalone single and is available digitally now via Counter Intuitive Records. Origami Angel are currently touring the US with Microwave and released Gami Gang in 2021. Check out the song below.

Sum 41 perform live on 'Good Morning America'

On May 3, Sum 41 stopped by Good Morning America to perform live as well as talk about their final album and tour. The band played “Dopamine” from Heaven :x: Hell which was released earlier this year. Sum 41 are currently on their final world tour and will be playing their final Canadian shows in January 2025. Koyo, Anxious, One Step Closer announce US co-headlining tour

Koyo, One Step Closer, and Anxious have announced US tour dates together for this summer. Prize Horse will be joining them on all dates. The bands all toured together in March. Koyo released Would You Miss It in 2023. One Step Closer will be releasing their album All You Embrace on May 17 and released This Place You Know in 2021. Anxious released Little Green House in 2022.
